The Toledo, Ohio native is excited to come back to Columbus, where she attended The Ohio State University. Prior to coming back to Ohio, Darlene spent more than two decades at FOX32 in Chicago. During her career, she won numerous regional and national awards, including the Edward R. Murrow Award, the prestigious Peabody Award, and multiple Emmy Awards.
She began her career three weeks after graduating from Ohio State when she accepted a reporter position in Monterey, California. Hill’s career then took her to Chicago, where she covered the Democratic National Convention, the 2008 Presidential Inauguration, and local issues impacting Chicago and the surrounding communities.
