Darrell Greene is an American journalist working for WHBQ FOX 13 as an evening news anchor at 5, 6, 9, and 10 p.m. since joining the station in August 2022. He also writes and produces special event stories, as well as broadcasts breaking news and major news.

Greene joined Arkansas State University in Jonesboro in 1987 after finishing his studies at Dermott High School in Dermott. In 1991, he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, emphasizing Broadcast Journalism/Com Law with a minor in Political Science. He also worked as a sideline reporter on the “NFL on FOX” and transitioned to the news desk in 2004 as a morning news anchor for 3 years.

During his time in New Orleans, Greene won the label “Katrina Survivor” as he was present when the storm hit, providing coverage for the city and the area’s recovery until 2007, when he moved to Orlando. While in Orlando, Greene worked as an evening news anchor for 3 years. He jumped at the opportunity to return home and join the FOX13 family.
