Dave Calabro is an American journalist working for WTHR as the sports director. He joined the station in May 1992 as a weekend sports anchor and has served the station for more than 2 decades. In June 2024, he announced his plans to retire from the industry after working in it for 4 decades at the end of the year.

Calabro joined Butler University in 1981 when he finished his education at Ben Davis High School. In 1985, he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies.
