Dave Schwartz is an Emmy Award-winning senior manager of communications and engagement at Minnesota Wild and a former anchor and reporter. He is well-known for previously working at KARE11 where he served as the weekend sports anchor from August 2007 till his departure in February 2022.

Schwartz serves as the senior manager of communications and engagement at Minnesota Wild in St.Paul, Minnesota, USA. Prior to working at Minnesota Wild, he worked at KARE 11 where he served as the Saturday show co-host, and weekend sports anchor from August 2007 to February 2022. During his time here, he managed to win several awards including 2 regional Emmy Awards: one for On-Camera Talent-Sports, and the other one for Sports Reporters. In the year 2012, he was the Sportswriters Association Sportscaster and the National Sportscaster for Minnesota.
Prior to his time at KARE 11, he worked at Southwest Christian High School where he served as an assistant hockey coach from November 2016 to March 2019 in Chaska, Minnesota, USA. Before that, she worked for KTAL-TV where she served as a sports anchor and sports director from August 2003 to August 2007. He previously spent about 9 months working at Bossier Parish Community College where she served as an adjunct journalism professor from September 2006 to May 2007.
From July 2002 to August 2003, he was working at KAWE-TV, Lakeland News where he served as a sports director in Bemidji, Minnesota, USA. Schwartz, a graduate of Hobart and William Smith Colleges, obtained a Master’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism from the S.I. Newhouse School at Syracuse University.

Fifteen seconds in the ring with Evander Holyfield, who was 41 years old and yet still terrifying, was the favorite story he has ever worked on. Whenever he is not working, he enjoys spending his free time with his family and friends. He also enjoys playing ice hockey and cooking.
