White joined Carroll Community College in 2002 after finishing her high school education. In 2005, she received her Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Arts/Sciences. Before her time at 11Alive, White served First Coast News, the NBC and ABC News affiliates in Jacksonville. There, she interviewed the nephew of George Floyd and secured an exclusive interview with a juror in the infamous “house of horrors” lawsuit. Moreover, she provided coverage for the state trial in the death of Ahmaud Arbery.
White won an Emmy Video Journalist Award for her writing, editing, shooting, and reporting. She also hosted The Heart of the Game, a weekly high school football segment. She worked for WBAL in Baltimore as a news and sports reporter and anchor before moving to Jacksonville. Further, she worked as the producer of a weekly profile series on the Baltimore Ravens. Further, she won a national Edward R. Murrow Award for WBAL’s broadcast of the FBI raid of former Mayor Catherine Pugh’s home.

White worked at abc27 News in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, as a reporter and fill-in anchor before working in Baltimore. While there, she broke the story of a puppy named Libre that was left for dead on a Lancaster County farm. In this capacity, she followed the story until the passage of the state’s groundbreaking Libre’s Law, generating a felony statue for severe animal abuse. For the story, she won the 2016 Humane Society of the United States Media Hero Award.
White worked for NBC25 in Hagerstown, Maryland, before moving to Harrisburg. During her time there, she was an anchor for four years, the Frederick Bureau reporter, and the Maryland General Assembly reporter. Additionally, she did a story on a blind swimmer, which won her a regional Edward R. Murrow Award. Further, she served FOX43 and WGAL in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
White is a proud member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists, the Indigenous Journalists Association, and the National Press Photographers Association. She’s a former competitive swimmer and figure skater who fiercely advocates for animals.
