Denelle Confair Biography

Denelle Confair is an American anchor and reporter working for KGUN 9 as a weekday evening anchor at 4 pm and an investigative reporter. He joined the KGUN 9 team in March 2022, after previously working at KVOA-TV where she was a weekend anchor and multimedia journalist. 

Southern Arizona is her native home and in 2004, Denelle joined Raymond S. Kellis High School where she earned a diploma in 2007. She then studied at Estrella Mountain Community College where she graduated with an associate’s degree in general studies in 2011. In addition, Confairhas also attended Arizona State University where she studied at its Walter Cronkite School of Broadcast Journalism and Mass Communication and graduated in 2014, with a Bachelor’s degree in mass communication and media studies.

Confair began her career at Daily News-Sun in Sun City, Arizona where she served as a reporter and multimedia journalist for a year. Later on, Denellejoined NBC Montana where she served as a reporter till August 2015, when she left the station for KVEO in Rio Grande Valley, Texas.

While she was in Rio Grande Valley she also served as a reporter for KVEO for 4 months. In addition, she has also worked at News-Press & Gazette Company in Yuma, Arizona where she served as an anchor, producer, and multimedia journalist for 2 years. During her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, traveling, and getting coffee.
