Derrion Henderson is an American journalist working for WMBF as an anchor. He joined the network in October 2020 serving as an anchor of the morning newscast.

Henderson attended a Historical Black University and College (HBCU), Harris-Stowe State University, prior to joining Southeast Missouri State University where he graduated.

Henderson anchors the 5 and 6 a.m. newscast, along with cut-ins for The Today Show. Previously, he was working for KTVI where he served as an anchor as well as a reporter. He has also managed to win several awards including two distinguished alumni awards from his high school alma maters Riverview Gardens and North Technical High School, DELUX Magazine 30under30, and St. Louis Champion by Explore St. Louis.
He was also nominated by two Mid-America Emmy Awards for taking part in the historical St. Louis Blues Stanley Cup Parade in 2019 as well as featuring a news story in 2018. He also emerged in several stations due to his coverage of the parade including FOX Sports, NHL Network, and ESPN.
Henderson is nonetheless a brother of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity and has released his debut memoir, The Come Up. He enjoys touring several countries like France, Spain, the U.K, the Netherlands, and the Czech Republic. Whenever he is not at work he prefers trying out wineries, trying new restaurants, relaxing on the beach, and trying new outdoor adventures.
