Loren Korn is an American journalist working for WMBF as an anchor. She joined the station in January 2021 and co-anchors with Derrion Henderson.

Korn is the Morning News Anchors for WMBF. She attended the University of Texas at Austin where she attained her degree in journalism. She also has a history of studying in Granada, Spain. Korn had also worked with other stations prior to joining WMBF. Previously, she worked as a multimedia journalist in Bryan/College Station. She, later on, moved on to working in Waco, Texas as a morning anchor/reporter prior to CBS affiliate in Corpus Christi, Texas where served as the main anchor. She managed to win an Associated Press Award for Best Feature “Haunted Lexington” while she was still in South Texas.
Korn worked for the CBS affiliate in Orlando, Fla where she served as a reporter/fill-in anchor. She reported on not just “weird Florida news,” but also a large number of events like hurricanes and high-profile court cases. She even went to Houston, Texas so as to cover Hurricane Harvey and also reported the well-known 2018 Royal Wedding that happened in England.
Korn attended the University of Texas at Austin where she attained her degree in journalism. She also has a history of studying in Granada, Spain. She shot, anchored morning newscast, produced and edited the news in her high school, and that’s where her passion and love for journalism came about.
Korn enjoys giving her time and efforts to Healthy Souls International, a nonprofit organization that cushions victims of natural weather disasters. She also spent some time on the board as vice president of public relations and initiated two county-wide food drives with the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office to collect food for those affected by Covid-19. Whenever she is not at work, she prefers Exploring new restaurants, exercising, traveling, and Texas two-stepping. She is still continuing to help the people of her community in many ways including delivering groceries to those people with compromised immune systems and senior citizens.
