Don Riddell Biography
Don Riddell is an English news anchor and sports journalist working at CNN. He has been working at the station since joining in 2002.

In 1982, he joined Bishop’s Stortford College where he attained his A Levels in English, History, and Economics in 1991. He, later on, joined The University of Leeds where he attained his BA Honours in Communication and Cultural Studies/Public Media in 1994.

Ridell serves as an anchor, and host of World Sport on CNN International. In his role as an anchor, he has enclosed news programs CNN Today and World News as well as the long-running feature show Living Golf. She also reported on the 2016 Hillsborough football disaster as well as a documentary called “World Sports Presents: They’ll Never Walk Alone” which won a silver medal.
Ridell also went to Rio De Janeiro and enclosed the 2016 Summer Olympics as well as Colombia and enclosed the deadly Chapecoense plane crash. Since joining CNN, he has enclosed a ton of other stories including the Rugby World Cup, Spain’s 2010 World Cup victory from Madrid, the Ryder Cup, the Champions League Finals, and the Tour de France. Ridell also fronted the World Sports Presents: Branded a Rebel in 2013 which examined the 30th anniversary of “Rebel Tours.”
Apart from covering sports, he has also covered other stories including the 2010 Royal Wedding, the Haiti earthquake, the disputed Iranian election, the Mumbai terror attacks, and the death of Michael Jackson. In addition to that, he has also profiled several personalities from holocaust survivors to astronauts, the world’s tallest man, to prime ministers.

From February 2000 to August 2002, he worked at ITN/London News Network(LNN) where he served as a sports reporter and presenter. Prior to that, he worked at Yorkshire TV where he also served as a sports reporter and presenter.
