Donna Terrell is an American Anchor working with FOX16 News where she serves the station as a Weekday Evening Anchor for the 5:30 and 9 PM News. She has been working with the station since the month of February year 2004.

Donna graduated from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Broadcast and Cinematic Arts. She is a member of the National Association of Television Arts and Sciences, the National Association of Black Journalists, and The Links, Incorporated’s Little Rock Chapter.

She moved to Little Rock from Detroit, Michigan where she was working as an Anchor for WKBD-TV and WWJ-TV. Prior to Detroit, she was working at WKYC-TV located in Cleveland, Ohio. Asides from this, she held anchoring and reporting positions in South Bend, Indiana, and Battle Creek, Michigan.

In her broadcast career, she has been honored with several awards. She is a proud recipient of the Regional Emmy Awards for her work as a News Anchor and for a FOX16 News promotional campaign. Asides from this, she is a recipient of the National American Legion Fourth Estate Award and an Associated Press Award for her special reports on Grieving a Child. Through her career, she has also been able to receive two more Emmy Awards for her work bringing light to cosmetic surgery and breast cancer issues.

Terrell has been nominated for numerous other Emmy Awards which include a special report on a father who left his son in a hot car, a story on her daughter’s battle with colon cancer, and Arkansas’ Little Rock 9. Asides from that, she has also earned an Associated Press Award for her story on the controversial patients’ Right To Die.

She states that she is fully committed to community service and created “Dona Terrell’s Yoga Warriors Fighting Colon Cancer.” He also participates in a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that raises money for yoga classes for cancer survivors, caregivers, and patients. The organization also provides funds for liquid nutritional supplements for survivors of colon and other cancers currently in treatment and in need of financial assistance.

The story, Yoga Warriors, is in memory of her daughter Queah (pronounced: Quaya) who died from colon cancer at a young age during her battle and found health benefits from yoga. He states that the organization has at least one free community-wide yoga fundraising event each year.

Additionally, he is a current board member for Women and Children First, a domestic violence facility. She is also a former board member of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and the Ronald McDonald House. Asides from that, she has also served as an Ambassador for the American Cancer Society.
