Donovan Campbell is an American anchor and reporter working for 7News WSVN. He has been working for the station since joining in 2007.

Donovan Campbell Career

Campbell serves as a sports anchor and reporter at 7News WSVN. Prior to joining WSVN, he worked in Super Bowl XLI in South Florida. He is a South Florida native who went to Florida International University where he attained his bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism major. During his time at the university, he spent two years working at Sun-Sentinel. In addition to this, he had also worked for other stations prior to joining WSVN. For instance, he started his journalism career at ESPN where he started off by serving as a production assistant from 2000 to 2002.

After Campbell left ESPN, he, later on, joined a station in San Angelo Texas where he served as a weekend sports anchor as well as a sports reporter. He left the station after 15 months at the station and joined a station in Lufkin, Texas where he served as the weekend sports Anchor. After several years, he left the station and started working at CW33 in Dallas where he served as a sports anchor/reporter for about two years. In addition to this, he was also in the U.S. Army for about three years and is also an active member of the National Association of Black Journalists. Whenever he is not working, he enjoys spending his free time with his family and friends.
