Ducis Rodgers Biography

Ducis Rodgers is an American Sports Anchor for Action News since joining the station in August 2012. You can find Rodgers on weeknights on Action News at 6 pm, and 11 pm, and Action News at 10 on PHL17. Previously, Rodgers spent several years at the ESPN anchor desk as a host of Sportscenter and Outside the Lines.

Rodgers was a play-by-play announcer for the NCAA Baseball Regionals and spent some time on ESPN First Take. Prior to ESPN, he worked as Sports Director, lead sports anchor, and sports reporter for WCBS-TV in New York from 2003 to 2009. He has covered World Series, and Super Bowls, and has traveled with the New York Yankees to start the 2004 season in Tokyo.

He started his at WDEF-TV in Chattanooga, Tennessee as an anchor/reporter and as a sports anchor at WSVN-TV in Miami. Rodgers was named Miami New Times Best Sportscaster in 2003 while working at WSVN. He attended the Dean’s List from Columbia College Chicago where he graduated with a degree in broadcast journalism.
