Dylan Federico is an American Meteorologist working for WSVN 7NEWS as a meteorologist and hurricane specialist since joining the station in July 2025. Previously, he worked for FOX 4 in Dallas, Texas, for 2 years.

Federico studied at Mississippi State University from 2014 to 2018, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology. He started his professional career as a meteorology intern at WVUE (FOX 8) in New Orleans during high school and college. In this capacity, he learned from legendary Meteorologists Bob Breck and David Bernard.

In 2020, Federico began working at WINK News in Southwest Florida, where he forecasted and tracked active weather. He also broadcast the historic tornado outbreak in January 2022 and Hurricane Ian, which destroyed the region and flooded the TV station with storm surge. After Ian, he spent time in the community helping with recovery efforts.
Federico did the weather in Southwest Florida for 3 years before moving to Dallas, where he joined KDFW FOX 4. There, he broadcast significant tornado outbreaks, winter storms, and vicious heat waves. Though he enjoyed every second of being in a dynamic weather market like Dallas, his true passion is the tropics. He looks forward to serving WSVN and broadcasting hurricanes with the best team of meteorologists in town.
