Elissa Borden is an American anchor working for WCAX-TV serving as a morning news anchor. Before joining the station in March 2020, she worked for Vox Media in Colchester, Vermont as a host TV.

Borden attended Joseph Case High School in 2010 where she graduated in 2015 with a diploma. She was also an active member of Case High Theatre Company, Field Hockey, and CHTC Box Office Head. After high school, Elissa joined the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2015 where she attained a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism in 2019. She also received a minor in Natural Resource Conservation and Southern European Culture. During her time in college, Borden worked as a student staff for nearly two years.

Borden serves as a morning news anchor at WCAX-TV in Burlington, Vermont. She joined the station in March 2020 working as a producer and Multimedia Journalist for six months. After that, Elissa secured a position as a weekend morning anchor and then 4 PM Reporter in July 2021. In July 2023, she was promoted to morning news anchor where she has been working for the last year.
Prior to joining WCAX-TV, Borden worked in Colchester, Vermont as a show host at Vox Media from September 2022 to April 2024. She started her journalism career at WLUC TV6 and FOX U.P. in Negaunee where she served as an anchor and multimedia journalist. While there, her duties included editing stories, writing scripts, and providing news for both FOX UP and TV6 newscasts. Elissa served the station for eleven months from May 2019 to March 2020.
Earlier, Borden worked as an intern at WPRI-TV 12 in East Providence. Before that, she spent nine months working for The Amherst Wire as a news editor from September 2017 to May 2018. Previously, Elissa worked for The Herald News as a correspondent from June 2017 to August 2017.
Prior to working for the Herald News, Borden also served as a special project intern at WHDH 7News in Boston. During her tenure there, she was responsible for conducting interviews, solving problems, and fielding phone tips and emails. Aside from working as a journalist, Elissa also serves as a private pilot.
