Kuebel works for WDSU Orleans, LA, where she serves as an anchor and reporter, on weekend evenings and reports from the field during the week. Prior to joining WDSU, Elizabeth worked for WATE in Knoxville, TN for 4 years where she served as an anchor and a reporter. While at the station Elizabeth covered some of East Tennessee’s biggest and most impactful stories. Additionally, she also reported internationally for USA Cycling when Knoxville hosted the Pro Road National Championships.
But perhaps one of her favorite assignments was sitting down with Dolly Parton for a one-on-one interview. When the country music icon made her first public Dollywood appearance since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Before working at WATE, Kuebel spent two years at WJHL-Tricities, TN where she served as a reporter. While at the station she reported in the Tri-Cities market of Tennessee, which includes Johnson City, Kingsport, and Bristol.
In addition to that, She launched and worked as the sole reporter in the station’s Kingsport bureau. Elizabeth has also worked at WWL-TV where she served as a desk assistant. Moreover, she spent one year serving as a Faculty Committee Member at the Manship School of Mass Communication. Where she assisted faculty in the search for a journalism assistant professor.
Elizabeth also served as an intern for WAFB 9 News in Baton Rouge, Louisiana for 8 months. While at the station she reported and assisted in gathering interviews and b-roll. Furthermore, Kuebel attended St.Scholastica Academy. Later on, she enrolled at Louisiana State University where she graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication.
