Lentes works for WDSU-TV New Orlean where she serves as an anchor and a reporter. Prior to joining WDSU-TV, Morgan worked for WLKY in Louisville, Kentucky, a sister station to WDSU. Where she started serving as a reporter and was eventually promoted to weekend morning anchor. That experience has helped her feel at home in her new role in the Big Easy. While at the station, she covered major events like the death of Muhammad Ali, March Madness, and the Kentucky Derby. But it was her reporting on the opioid epidemic that earned her an Emmy nomination.
Before that, she served as Anchor at WYMT-TV in Lexington, Kentucky Area. While at the station she acted as a fill-in anchor for the morning, four o’clock, and 11 o’clock newscast. Additionally, she served as co-host for Cardinal Hill’s annual telethon in Lexington. Previously, Lentes served as an anchor at WOUB Public Media in Athens, OH.
Moreover, she has spent 5 months as an intern for Today Show, NBC. Prior to that, Morgan worked at WSAZ-TV in Huntington, West Virginia Area where she served as a producer. Moreover, Lentes served as an Anchor/producer/MMJ for 7 months. While at the station she anchored daily newscasts, which included delivering weather and sports on occasion.
Furthermore, she attended Ohio University and graduated with degrees in journalism and history. In addition to interning at a local television station, Morgan spent a semester in New York City working for the Today Show. In her leisure time, Morgan loves to be outdoors. She is an avid runner, who also enjoys exploring new places. That is part of the reason she was drawn to New Orleans – a historic city synonymous with unique experiences.
