Emily Roehler Biography
Emily Roehler is an American Meteorologist working for WOWT NBC as the chief meteorologist since joining the station in October 2021. Prior to WOWT, she worked for FOX 21 News in Colorado Springs as an evening meteorologist between October 2018 and September 2021.

Roehler joined Western Connecticut State University in 2008 after finishing her high school education. In 2012, she graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology. During college, she was involved with the Honors Student Organization, Honors Program, and Meteorology Club.

Roehler works for WOWT NBC as the chief meteorologist. However, this is not her first time forecasting the weather in Nebraska. She kick-started her career working as a weekend meteorologist for NTV News in Kearney, Nebraska. There, she covered Central Nebraska and North Central Kansas. Later on, she moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado, where she was KKTV 11 News’s weekend meteorologist and was later promoted to weekday mornings.
Roehler left KKTV but still stayed in Colorado before moving to WeatherNation in Denver, where she covered the weather across the country on the national cable network. Furthermore, she returned to Colorado Springs in the year 2018 as a weekday evening meteorologist for FOX21. There, she covered blizzards, flooding, and tornadoes(sometimes all on the same day).
