Erika Holland whose full name is Erika Bazaldua Holland is an American journalist who serves on KLTV as the anchor of Good Morning East Texas. She is A DFW native. Erika earned a B.S. in Mass Media at Stephen F. Austin State University in December 2014.
Erika Holland Career
Erika began her career in the media at a young age. From the age of 11 to 18, she worked as a youngster DJ for ABC’s Radio Disney. Erika began working as a general assignments reporter at KTRE/KLTV in 2015 after graduating from SFA. She started producing and anchoring Good Morning East Texas Weekend on Saturdays and Sundays the same year. Erika married KLTV 7 New anchor Blake Holland in 2021.
Erika is involved in the community outside of work. She is a board member of The First Tee of Greater Tyler, where she works with East Texas students on character development and college readiness through the game of golf. Erika, a proud Lumberjack, is still very connected with her alma university. She is a member of Alpha Chi Omega Sorority, where she served as Vice President of Philanthropy for two years.
Erika’s objective is to raise awareness about domestic abuse, and she plans to continue her volunteer efforts for the cause throughout East Texas. Erika enjoys going on weekend hikes in new locations. She writes about her personal adventures on her blog, which frequently includes her recent donut reviews.
