Victoria is a DFW native who earned a bachelor’s degree in Converged Broadcast Media and Political Science from the University of North Texas. Her collegiate television station, North Texas Television, provided her with media experience. She held a variety of positions there, including news director. She is a member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists and interned with CBS11 news in Dallas.
Victoria has also won a Telly Award and many Lone Star EMMY awards for student production. Victoria enjoys cooking in her spare time. She enjoys experimenting in the kitchen with new foods for her family and friends to enjoy. Bane, her German Shepherd, and Basil, her Orange Tabby cat, are also among her favorite companions.
