Andrew Tate Biography
Andrew Tate is an American journalist who serves as a member of the First Alert Weather Team on KLTV. He relocated to East Texas from the Dallas region, where he worked as a Weather Producer for KXAS-TV, where he supported the meteorologists behind the scenes.
He also covered traffic and breaking news from above as the station’s morning photographer in the station’s helicopter. Andrew also worked part-time as a weather anchor for KTEN-TV in North Texas.
Andrew graduated from the University of North Texas in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism and a certificate in introductory meteorology. He’ll continue his meteorology studies at Mississippi State University online. Andrew enjoys spending time outside, especially on his bike, when he is not at work. He’s thrilled to be in East Texas and part of the KLTV team.
