While in University, she interned in Pittsburgh through ”The X Morning Show” and 970 ESPN. Stanish also interned at WJXT in Jacksonville, Florida. She then started her career in Youngstown, Ohio in 2014 as a morning reporter at WFMJ. Stanish later joined WJAC in Johnstown, Pennsylvania as a reporter and weekend anchor. There she worked for 4 years, reporting on local government, breaking news stories, and crime. She also researched and reported on the growing opioid epidemic and covered major court cases including Jerry Sandusky.
Stanish joined KOKH-TV in Oklahoma City serving as a reporter and investigative journalist. There, she covered the station’s COVID-19 pandemic coverage, and she investigated the homeless and dilapidated county jail in the city. She also covered the aftermath of devastating tornadoes and floods and she covered Hurricane Sally in Florida. In October 2021, she joined the KDKA news team as an evening news anchor and reporter. Away from work, she enjoys golfing, boating, skinning, and relaxing by a fire with family and friends.
