Murray serves as the weekend anchor/reporter at Spectrum Bay News 9. Prior to working at Bay News 9 Tampa, she worked at Spectrum News 13 in Orlando, Central Florida where she served as a general assignment reporter. Prior to that, she worked at WOWT NBC Omaha where she served as a general assignment reporter for the 5,6, and 10 p.m. newscasts from April 2013 to November 2016. Before that, she worked at KVEO News Center where she served as a reporter and gathered news for the network from November 2010 to April 2013.
From September 2009 to November 2010, she worked at WDTV Channel 5 where she served as the weekend reporter and also set up interviews. Prior to that, she worked at KDKA-TV where she served as a reporter based in WVU Morgantown from January 2010 to May 2010. From August 2009 to December 2009, she worked at WVU News where she served as an anchor as well as a reporter.
Murray is also the recipient of three Emmy Awards and the Florida AP Award Winner for best general assignment reporter in 2018. Since starting her career, she has managed to enclose several stories that hit the headlines all across the states and beyond. For instance, he enclosed Hurricane Michael, which killed some people as well as Hurricanes Irma and Harvey. In addition to that, she also went to Puerto Rico and enclosed two years after Hurricane Maria hit and enclosed Washington D.C.’s March for Our Lives, where people came out to protest after the Parkland mass shooting.
