Josh Linker is an American Certified Broadcast Meteorologist working for Bay News 9. He has been working for the station since joining in 2001.

Linker serves as the Morning News, Saturday and Sunday mornings meteorologist at Bay New 9. He started his journalism career at WNYT in Albany, N.Y. He, later on, left the station in May 1998 and moved on to work at GAN in Cedar Rapids, IA. where he served as a weather forecaster. During his time working on a special series about storm chasers, he encountered 14 separate tornadoes.
Linker went to the State University of New York in Albany where he attained his Bachelor of Science degree in atmospheric science. In addition to that, he is also the owner of the Seal of Approval from the American Meteorological Society. He also owns the AMS Certified Broadcast Meteorologist Seal since 1998. Whenever he is not working, he enjoys spending his free time with his family and friends.
