Gabby Hart is an American journalist working for WOIO as an investigative reporter and anchor since joining the station in October 2023. She returned to Cleveland after working in Houston, Texas, as a general assignment reporter and fill-in anchor from 2021 to 2023.

The Cleveland native is thrilled to be back in the city that raised her, where she’ll be a voice for the voiceless and hold the powerful accountable. She returned home after working in Houston, Texas, as a general assignment reporter and fill-in anchor from 2021 to 2023.
During her time in Houston, Hart took charge of “The Missing,” a series that spotlighted the long-term missing people in the greater Houston region and gave answers and results to families. Before Houston, she worked in Las Vegas, Nevada, as a general assignment reporter from 2017 to 2021. There, she broadcasted the COVID-19 pandemic, the October 1 mass shooting tragedy, and the Black Lives Matter protests ignited by George Floyd’s death.
Hart worked as a news producer and reporter in Jackson, Mississippi, from 2015 to 2017. During her time there, she broadcast controversial topics such as the state flag fight. She kickstarted her career on the assignment desk in Cleveland from 2013 to 2015. As a former foster child, she has a passion for mentoring and uplifting young foster girls/teens.
