Gary Miller Biography
Gary Miller is a famous American sportscaster and radio host, popular for his tenure at ESPN from 1990 to 2004. He currently serves as a weeknight sports anchor with Local 12 at WKRC-TV, where he joined in August 2017.

Miller joined and studied at Naperville Central High School, where he gained a diploma in Drama and Dramatics. He then attended Southern Illinois University, in Illinois, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Radio and Television.
Gary Miller Career
Miller started his career as the Sports Director at WSAV-TV in Savannah, Georgia, working from 1978 to 1982. He then served eight years with CNN and Headline News as part of their sports coverage. Miller served with ESPN from 1990 to 2004. There he was an anchor at SportsCenter, the host of ESPN’s Baseball Tonight, and the last host of the sports interview show Up Close prior to it being canceled in 2001. He occasionally did play-by-play of Major League Baseball games, and was the main dugout reporter on Monday Night baseball broadcasters and also ESPN Daygame. Other play-by-play assignments during this period consisted of games of the College World Series and the Little League World Series.
He then joined KSPN radio in Los Angeles and was the host of West Coast Bias, a daily sports talk show together with former National Football League athlete D’Marco Farr until November 2006. The program which airs at 1 p.m. Pacific time Monday through Friday, sometimes originates at ESPN Zone in Anaheim, California. It was then reported on November 10, 2006, that he was leaving the show effective immediately. The show was later renamed The D’Marco Farr Show with guest hosts replacing Miller.
Miller then joined the CBS Corporation-owned duopoly of KCBS and KCAL in Los Angeles as a weekend sports anchor until January 2017. In August 2017, he joined CBS station WKRC, in Cincinnati, Ohio, with the Local 12 News team as a weeknight sports anchor.
