Gina Gannon is an American Traffic Reporter for 6 ABC Action News since joining the station in December of 2016. Born and raised in Northeast Philadelphia, Gannon is a proud Philly girl.

Gannon often hosts the ever-popular lifestyle show, “FYI Philly,” where she presents the “In the Kitchen with Alessi” food segment. There, she opens viewers’ eyes to one-of-a-kind recipes, from delectable date nights to family-focused dinners.

Gannon began anchoring entertainment segments for her grade school’s news program. From there, Gannon knew it was the only path she wished to pursue. She attended Temple University and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications.

Upon graduating, Gannon worked as a local traffic reporter for a cable station in Malvern. She then started working on-air at QVC. During her free time, you can find Gannon hosting events near and dear to her heart. She is on the Board of Directors for Mums and Mutts, an animal advocacy non-profit. She is an avid animal lover.
