Grant Pugh is an American anchor/reporter/director working for WTWO as the sports director a position he took up in March 2016. He joined the WTWO team in November 2010, as a sports reporter and videographer, and in 2012, he was promoted to the weekend sports anchor position.
Milan, Tennessee is Pugh’s native home and in 2003, he joined the University of Tennessee at Martin where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in communications in 2007. While he was in college, he worked at the campus radio station, WUTM-FM as the sports director and the play-by-by voice of the Skyhawks.
In addition, he later interned at NewsChannel 5 in Nashville as a sports intern and covered Nashville Predators, Titans, and the Tennessee Vols. Prior to joining WTWO, he worked in Paducah, Kentucky at WPSD-TV where he served as a morning show producer. During Grant’s spare time, he loves going to concerts, watching sports, spending time with his family and friends, and watching sports. His favorite sports teams are the Chicago Cubs and the Tennessee Vols.
