Hayley Spitler Biography

Hayley Spitler is an American anchor, reporter, and producer working at Fox Carolina where she serves as a  weekday anchor and reporter. She joined Fox Carolina in August 2022, after previously working at WEAU 13 News where she served as an anchor and multimedia journalist. 

She worked at WEAU for a period of three years, where she began as a reporter, and later on, she was promoted to the evening anchor position. Apart from anchoring the 9 and 10 pm newscasts, he also reports on feature stories and any breaking news. Chicago is her native home and in May 2019, she graduated from Loyola University Chicago with a degree in multimedia journalism.

While she was a junior, she traveled and covered the Ramblers’ run to the Final Four in 2018. During her leisure time, she enjoys playing with her puppy Zobrist, going to concerts, traveling, watching Grey’s Anatomy, and spending time with friends and family.

Her most memorable story she covered was Anthony’s Legacy which involved a 19-year-old boy known as Anthony who was shot and killed while he served at a La Crosse, Wisconsin bar where he was a door host. She spoke with Anthony’s father and one of his former Wis Corps leaders six months after his death. His father shared stories of who his son was and how he gave back to his community, he also explained how Anthony donated his organs saving the lives of people all over the country.
