Ivan Cabrera is an American meteorologist working for WFOR-TV as a chief meteorologist. Before joining the station in July 2022, he worked for KOB 4 in Albuquerque, New Mexico as a chief meteorologist.

Afterward, he joined Mississippi State University where he graduated in 2006 with a Business Management Professional. Earlier, he worked as a meteorologist at HLN and CNN in Atlanta, Georgia from August 2017 to December 2019.
Prior to working at CNN News, Ivans served as a meteorologist at WFTS-TV in Tampa, St. Petersburg. He began his professional career in June 2006 working for WESH-TV in Orlando, Florida. There, he worked as a meteorologist from June 2006 to June 2009. In addition, Cabrera also appeared as a guest on Fox News Channel and The Weather Company.
Throughout his career, Cabrera has covered historical weather events such as hurricane catastrophes like Sandy, Charlie, and Katrina. He also reported multiple storms, winter, and several tornadoes.
