Jason Doris is an American meteorologist working at WJAR NBC 10 News serving as a meteorologist. He has been working with the station since September 2022.

Doris works for WJAR NBC 10 News where he serves as a meteorologist and digital weather producer. Prior to joining, WJAR, Jason served as the weekend meteorologist at WBNG-TV in Binghamton, New York. While at the station, he had the opportunity to forecast all types of extreme weather. That includes plenty of lake-effect snow, and winter storms, severe weather outbreaks.

Before that, Doris worked at WHDH in Boston, Massachusetts where he served as the morning weather producer. While atthe station he won an Emmy Award for his part in storm coverage of an October nor’easter. He came to 7 NEWS WHDH-TV, from Vermont Transport Agencey in Lyndonville,Vermont where he served as the Lead Forecaster from November 2017 to April 2019.

Moreover, Jason grew up in Lincoln and has always been fascinated by Southern New England weather. His first experience forecasting for Southern New England came when he was a meteorologist intern here at WJAR. Additionally, in his leisure time, Doris likes to work out, hike, or go for a run. Most of the time he loves cheering on his beloved Boston Celtics!, New England Patriots, or Boston Red Sox. Furthermore, Jason graduated with a bachelor of science degree in atmospheric science from Northern Vermont University-Lyndon in 2019.
