Jeff Bidwell Biography
Jeff Bidwell is an American former sports director, anchor, and reporter who worked at WPSD Local 6 where he served as the sports director reporting sports every weeknight at 6 pm and 10 pm. After working at WPSD-TV for 20 years, he left the station in April 2022, and he currently is the host of the Coaching Origins podcast.
Bidwell began his job as a news producer however, his aim was to become a sportscaster. Prior to joining WPSD Local 6, he worked at WAGT in Augusta, Georgia where he served as a producer, fill-in sports reporter, and anchor. Jeff earned the Georgia Association of Broadcasters Best Sports Feature Story Award in 1999, while he worked at WAGT. In May 2002, he was promoted to serving as a sports anchor at WAGT and he has covered lists are the 2000-2002 Masters Golf Tournaments, the World Series, and the Daytona 500.
