Mike Mallory Biography
Mike Mallory is an American anchor working for WPSD-TV where he serves as the morning and midday anchor. He joined the WSPD-TV team in 1998, and he previously worked at WTVW in Evansville.
Olmstead, Kentucky is Mike’s native home, and prior to joining Local 6, he worked in Evansville at WTVW where he served as a morning show host, sports anchor, and feature reporter for about 11 years. He attended Western Kentucky University where he graduated proudly and later on, he was able to secure his first job at TV43 in Hopkinsville. Later on, he relocated to Bowling Green, where he worked for two years at WBKO.
Mallory also serves as the chairman of the St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway. Every year, Mike makes a trip to Memphis where he highlights the hospital and gives amazing stories of a number of the patients in the hospital. He also serves as the chairman of the local Walk to End Alzheimer’s which was previously known as the Memory Walk. In addition, Mallory’s work with the Alzheimer’s Foundation assisted him earn the Better Life Award which was presented to him by the Kentucky Association of Health Care Facilities.
