For three years, he worked for an ABC Affiliate WVGA in Valdosta, Georgia. He then moved to NBC affiliate WMGT in Macon Georgia. In 1990, he got a job working for the CBS affiliate, WCTV in Tallahassee, Florida. During his time there, he was the Bureau Chief in Valdosta. This role gave him the chance to again report on the news wherein the place he graduated high school and college.
Prior to leaving WCTV, he was promoted to weekend anchor. In 1996, he moved to West Palm Beach, Florida where he worked as a general assignment reporter. In January 2000, he landed a position at ABC13 as the morning reporter. During his tenure at ABC13, he has covered hurricanes, Operation Iraqi Freedom from Kuwait and Iraq, and Texas troops guarding the prisoners at Guantanamo, Cuba. During his free time, he enjoys traveling and pro football.
