He began his journalism career in Palm Springs, California prior to making the jump to Waco, Texas. In addition to that, he spent about two years working in Central Texas where he enclosed several severe weather events.
Whenever he is not working, he enjoys hiking, playing basketball, photography, and exploring the Portland food scene. In addition to that, he also finds pleasure in gardening in the yard alongside his wife, Katie. He was also among the cast members of “America’s Next Weatherman,” a competition reality show in which he starred in 2015 on TBS.
