Brian MacMillan is an American meteorologist and owner of MacMillan Media working for FOX 13 He has been working for the station since joining in October 2021. He previously worked at FOX 12 where he served as a meteorologist and reporter.

Prior to his tenure at FOX12, he worked for KOHD-TV where he served as a weather anchor and reporter from August 2007 to August 2009 in Bend, Oregon. He was in charge of weather forecasting, the one-man band creating and reporting web content as well as coordinating storm spotter training classes for Central Oregon residents.

Prior to that, he worked for Destination Marketing where he served as a TV/Radio producer from December 2003 to August 2007. While there, he was in charge of coordinating shoots, managing projects, and hiring people. She also edited on Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Combustion.

MacMillan started his journalism career at CNN in Atlanta, Georgis where he served as a reporter from 1999 to 2002. While there, he was in charge of reporting for the station’s Student Bureau, CNN Newsroom, and CNN Student News. He also served as a multimedia journalist and was responsible for editing, pitching stories, and shooting videos. Whenever he is not working, he enjoys spending his free time with his family and friends.
