Jeff Verszyla Biography
Jeff Verszyla is an American meteorologist working for WTAE as a Meteorologist. He joined the station back in 2020.
Jeff Verszyla Career
Verszyla forecasts the weather on weekdays on Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 at 4 p.m. He has been a meteorologist for more than 25 years and hence is well known to be a master when i9t comes to the weather. He had also worked for other stations prior to joining WTAE. He previously worked for KDKA-TV where he served as a meteorologist. After a while, he joined KDKA-TV in May 1996 and has been providing his viewers with his reliable local ever since.
While at KDKA-TV, he was forecasting the weather at four, five, six, and eleven p.m. on weeknights. He has also been voted as the best meteorologist at WTAE-TV in Pittsburgh. Verszyla attained his undergraduate degree at Allegheny College and earned his degree in broadcast meteorology from Mississippi State University.
Verszyla enjoys practicing his dad’s jokes, working out, as well as taking his boys to baseball and hockey practices whenever he is not working. He is one of the people who are weather enthusiasts and loves anything that has to do with the weather.
