Jennie Runevitch is an American journalist working for WTHR as an anchor of Eyewitness News on weekends at 6 and 11 p.m. She joined the station in January 2006 as a reporter and has served the station for more than a decade.

Runevitch has broadcasted various stories during her career including natural crises, Pope Benedict XVI’s first visit to the United States in New York City, and the Timothy McVeigh execution. Further, she rode shotgun at IMS with IndyCar legend Mario Andretti and flew with the USAF Thunderbirds. She believes that a human connection is the core of every story regardless of the topic. She enjoys sharing information, emotion, and compassion with Hoosiers.
