Jesse Risley is an American Weather Anchor and Reporter working for WGEM-TV as both a weather reporter and anchor. He also serves as a social sciences educator and geography teacher at the school district in Macomb, Illinois.

After graduating fro high school, Jesse attended Western Illinois University where he graduated with a Master of Science in Educational Leadership. He then attended Illinois State University where he attained a Bachelor of Science in History. While there, Jesse taught Social Studies Education to undergraduate students at the secondary and middle levels.

Risley works as a weather reporter and anchor at WGEM-TV in Quincy, Illinois. He has been with the station for more than two decades since he joined where he provides breaking weather coverage and live reports. While at WGEM-TV, Jesse has covered every major weather event that has occurred in the region including the storm spotting and storm chasing. Risley has also been recognized by the National Weather Service SKYWARN severe weather spotter since he joined in 1999.
He has also hosted various professional workshops for WGEM-TV mainly focusing on the safety and major topics of storm chasing and tornado climatology. In March 2012, Jesse covered the outbreak of a tornado that happened in Central Indiana. On top of this, he also covered the F5 tornado in August 1990 and the aftermath of Plainfield, Illinois. His videography work has appeared on various major National Weather Service training venues and network platforms.
