In 2003, he joined Drake University where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism in 2007. Donia is an award-winning sportscaster who enjoys telling stories about what makes an athlete or team so special. Prior to joining KWQC, he worked at Local 5 News in Des Moines, Iowa where he served as a weekend sports anchor and reporter from July 2010 to September 2014. In addition, he has also worked in Albany, Georgia at WALB-TV where he serves as a weekend sports anchor, He is also very happy about his friends, family, and mentors who assisted him in making his dream come true.
