Montse Ricossa is an American Emmy award-winning anchor working at Telemundo Wisconsin where she serves as an 11 am anchor. She joined the Telemundo Wisconsin team in April 2022, after previously working at KWQC.
Mexico City, Mexico is her native home, and in 2011, Ricossa joined St Charles North High School in 2015. Later on, she joined Augustana College where she graduated in 2019, with a double major in multimedia journalism and mass communications and a minor in Spanish.
Prior to joining the Telemundo Wisconsin team, she worked at KWQC in Davenport, Iowa where she was the first bilingual reporter and weekend anchor for three years. While she worked at KWQC, she made invaluable connections and spoke at dozens of community events. Ricossa was awarded an Emmy for her reporting in the Quad Cities. With her family residing in the Chicago suburbs, she gets to travel home more often. During her free time, she enjoys volunteering with local organizations, tending to her plants, running, and reading.
