A career in broadcasting is always fascinating, and it might lead to unexpected and exciting adventures! Jon began his profession when he was in college, at the age of ten or eleven. He then moved to St. Joseph, Missouri, where he reported, anchored, and worked as a weather forecaster. For seven years, his route led him to Knoxville, Tennessee, and station WATE. Jon worked as an anchor and reporter for numerous newscasts while there. He returned to the 10/11 in 2003 as the evening anchor until 2010, when he was replaced as co-anchor with his wife.
Jon enjoys the distinctions and awards he’s gotten over his career, but most importantly, he treasures the relationships he’s built with everyone he’s met!
