Josh Lederman is an American Correspondent, Adjunct Lecturer, and White House reporter working for NBC News based in Washington D.C. He joined the station in July 2018.

After graduating from high school and earning his Diploma in General Education, he had to further his education. He joined George Washington University in 2005 to pursue his course. In 2008, he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology. Lederman did not stop there, he joined Northwestern University Medill in 2010. Prior to joining the NBC News team, he worked for The Associated Press. During his time there, he served as a White House reporter from 2013 to 2017. He traveled with President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden. Lederman also covered U.S. diplomacy, national security, and foreign affairs for The AP. To date, he has reported from over 35 countries.
His journalism career began in the AP’s Jerusalem bureau during the Arab Spring. During his working time there, he covered Gov. Chris Christie and state politics for the AP in New Jersey. Lederman worked for The Hill newspaper in Washington and covered presidential, House, and Senate campaigns. Prior to transitioning to a journalist, he was a singer and an actor in New York City.
