She also serves as the primary host of ABC7’s signature 30-minute program Asian Influences, which highlights first-rate contributions through Chicagoans of Asian Pacific American descent, at the same time inspecting troubles impacting the community.

In 2001, she was happy to return to her hometown to join ABC 7 as the weekday anchor of the station’s morning 4:30-7 AM block of news programming. She leads the morning show for 15 years prior to her promotion to the afternoon and early evening.
