Kayla Solomon is an American journalist working for WHBQ FOX 13 as an investigative news reporter since joining the station in October 2021. Previously, she worked for 13WMAZ News in Macon, Georgia, as a multimedia journalist and reporter for 3 years.

Solomon joined the Klein College of Media and Communications at Temple University in 2014 after finishing her studies at Scranton Preparatory School. In 2018, she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and a Public Relations minor.

During her time in college, Solomon worked as the president of the Temple Association of Black Journalists and an Emma Bowen Foundation fellow. As an Emma Bowen Foundation fellow, she secured paid internships at FOX29 Philadelphia and FOX5 New York. Further, she worked as a sports reporter and anchor for OwlSports Update, the Mid-Atlantic Emmy Award-Winning show.
