Davis attended Glenbard West High School. She then went to the University of Iowa where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Psychology. Before joining WGN-TV, Davis was a reporter and fill-in anchor at KMOV in St. Louis, Missouri. Prior to Davis’s position at KMOV, She worked in stations throughout the Midwest, including WWTV in Cadillac, Michigan, and WDRB in Louisville, Kentucky. Davis has won multiple awards for her reporting from the Associated Press and Society of Professional Journalists for years.
