Ken Wayne Biography
Ken Wayne is an American Anchor/Reporter working for KRON 4 News in San Francisco Bay Area where he serves the station as an Evening Anchor for the 6, 8, and 10 PM Newscasts. He has been working with the station since May 2018.

Wayne attended Defense Information School between 1979 and 1980. There, he was studying Broadcast Journalism. He has previously worked in AFRTS(Armed Forces Radio and Television Service) in the Philippines, Alaska, and aboard USS Biddle. Wayne was working in the US Navy journalism program.
Ken Wayne Career
Wayne works with KRON 4 News, serving the station as a Weekday Evening News Anchor. The award-winning journalist has served the Bay Area since the year 1992. He has been privileged to travel the world as a Navy Journalist, taking him on assignments from the Aleutian Islands to the coast of Libya. Ken began his career at a small TV and FM radio station in Adak, Alaska. He has also worked at Subic Bay, in the Philippines and aboard the USS Biddle, a guided missile cruiser based in Norfolk, Virginia.
After the Navy, Wayne started in Palm Springs at KESQ in 1985. From there, he went on to Chico, Fresno, Los Angeles, and finally home to the Bay Area. Before joining KRON4 in 2018, Wayne anchored the weekday and weekend newscasts for the Bay Area’s FOX affiliate station and earned Peabody and Edward R. Murrow awards for his reporting.
Later on, after the Navy, he went to Palm Springs to work at KESQ in the year 1985. From there, he went on to join KSEE Channel 24 Fresno where he was serving the station as a Reporter. There, he worked between April 1988 and April 1990. He has also worked with KTLA Channel 5 Los Angeles where he served the station as a Reporter between April 1989 and June 1990.
He then went on to join KXTV Channel 10 Sacramento where he served the station as a Morning Anchor. There, he worked between January 1999 and 2000. Prior to joining the KRON team, he was working with KTVU FOX 2 where he was serving the station as an Anchor/Reporter. He worked for the station between September 1992 and April 2018. Away from work, he enjoys piloting his small place across the West and California. Asides from this, he has a healthy obsession with karaoke.
