Kevan Smith is an eminent American Journalist working for NBC 5 as a weekend Meteorologist. He joined NBC 5 in May 2022, and he comes to the NBC 5/Telemundo Weather Team from the Black News Channel in Tallahassee, Florida where he served as chief meteorologist since 2019.

He forecasted for over 25 stations around the country during his time at Weather Vision. Because of his exemplarity in his work, he has won numerous AP awards for best weathercasts. In addition to his meteorological career, he is a lover of politics, architecture, and drawing. When he is not forecasting, he can be seen karaoke-ing and he can be seen on the weekends and during the week.
