Johnson serves as the co-anchor of the 5 p.m. & 11 p.m. news at CBS2| WCBS-TV in New York City. Kristine has navigated through several breaking news incidents for her fans. Some of them include Hurricane Sandy, the shooting at the Newtown Academy, the Boston Marathon bombings, and two different Big Apple visits from the Pope. She also hosts the new streaming channel CBSN on the networks on a weekly basis, is a CBS This Morning fill-in host, and has filed stories for CBS Sunday Morning.
Johnson began her journalism career in Providence, Rhode Island at WPRI in 1994 and served as a part-time assignment editor. She, later on, started working at MSNBC where she served as an anchor.
