Lauren Leamanczyk is an American Anchor/Reporter working at KARE 11 serving as the anchor of KARE 11 News at 5 p.m. and investigative reporter. She has been working for the station since joining in August 2016. She joined as a morning news anchor, but she transitioned to the afternoon newscasts in July 2019.

Leamanczyk serves as an investigative reporter as well as an anchor on KARE 11 News at 5 p.m. She previously worked for WBZ|CBS Boston where she started off by serving as a general assignment reporter and later on served as an investigative reporter and anchor till her departure in July 2016. Prior to that, she worked for WTMJ-TV where she served as a general assignment reporter from October 2004 to June 2011 in Greater Milwaukee.

Leamanczyk went to the University of Missouri-Columbia where she graduated. During the 2008 election, she had an opportunity to interview all of the candidates. She was also present at Obama’s victory rally in Chicago on election night and it was the favorite story she had ever worked on. The Boston Marathon bombings and manhunts were, however, the most memorable and traumatic.

Leamanczyk says that she enjoys doing her job because she gets to learn something new every day. She also loves the fact that the job makes her meet so many people who open up to her and tell her their stories and contributes to a positive change. During her leisure, she enjoys spending time traveling to her favorite vacation spots, Costa Rica and Italy. Furthermore, she also enjoys playing basketball in her spare time.
