She would sneak downstairs to watch the 11 p.m. news which was past her bedtime. While in high school, she worked as the News Editor of the Montour Monitor, her high school newspaper. After graduating college, she moved south to West Virginia.
While in West Virginia, she worked her way up to the position of anchor and reporter at the Clarksburg/Morgantown (WBOY) and Charleston (WCHS) news markets. She reported about the disastrous 2016 flood and the consecutive teacher strikes in the State Capitol.
Sitting down with the families of Sago Mine victims in the years following their lethal demise serves among her most unforgettable encounters. She still is in contact with numerous of those families today. During her free time, she enjoys traveling, unwinding at the pool with a cold beverage, trying new restaurants around the city, and spending time with family.
